Airtel Rebranding
Last week, Airtel announced a re-branding move and unveiled it's new logo and signature tune. The new logo is supposed to represent "a dynamic force of unparalleled energy" , and the new tune is again, composed by A.R. Rahman. In case you hadn't noticed, here are the old and new logos: Personally, I don't think much of the new logo. According to Airtel guys, it's supposed to be a variation of the lower case 'a'. I do like the font for the "airtel" text (although at first, I thought it looked like the Ubuntu font). I think it looks quite terrible and too abstract to mean anything.
