Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Did you enjoy the first Transformers movie? If you did, then you'll probably enjoy this sequel too. It's bigger, faster, louder and of course, sillier.
The story line stays fit for a comic book, and this one features an overload of talking, emotionally sensitive, human like (one of them even had parts resembling the male vitals! phew!) mega-robots. The story has been enlarged to allow for more machines, more action sequences and more [stupid] robotic emotions.
Apparently, the crowd (mostly young guys) liked it quite well. Even before the show started, I could hear guys whispering the characters' names (Bumble Bee?) and explaining the background story (from the first movie) to their not-so-illumined friends. Gasps, approving nods and applause were generously displayed throughout the action-filled show.
So, if you liked the first Transformers movie, or you like audio/visual effects, go watch Transformers 2 on a nearby big screen.
For the second time in my life, I watched a movie with complete strangers. Had no company to go with :-( It's exactly these kind of circumstances that force guys in to getting married! Need to survive this ;-)
